Beauty Programs from Entourage
Entourage Institute is a state-of-the-art cosmetology school with a stellar beauty program. Our students can complete our program of 1500 hours in 10 months, and graduate from Entourage Institute with everything they need to pass state boards and become fully licensed, employable stylists.
Cosmetology Program
Each level in our cosmetology and beauty program at Entourage Institute follows similar procedures, curriculum design and instructional methods, and the same grading procedures. Our beauty school is learner-centered and discovery-oriented so that each student’s beauty talents can be channeled and directed toward a successful career in cosmetology.
As part of our cosmetology school beauty program, students identify short-term and long-term career goals and begin development of an action plan for achievement of those goals. The education is provided through interactive lecture, demonstration, technology and hands-on practice.
Levels of Study at Entourage Institute Beauty School
VIP – Students spend the first 10 weeks in our VIP training level. In this basic, indispensable and pre-clinical level of training, students focus on learning the underlying hair styling theory and basic skills required for performing client services in the beauty industry.
STAR: In this second-level of training, students develop and customize their beauty skills to meet the needs of clients. In addition to continued coursework, students will begin to perform their skills in the student salon and student skin care spa. In this level of our cosmetology program students become increasingly self-confident and proficient in their communication, consultation and technical skills. Students practice the advanced skills through guest services, photo shoots, building clients and tracking numbers. The beauty education in the STAR level is provided through interactive lecture, demonstration, technology, field trips, guest speakers and hands-on practice.
CELEBRITY: In this final level of training, students will master the creative beauty skills necessary for achieving excellence and success in the beauty workplace, and learn key business skills needed to be successful professionals. In the celebrity level students will be prepared for immediate success, and will dramatically improve their opportunities for employment up on graduation. In addition to coursework and hands-on styling, students will focus on state board preparation, professional development and career placement. The education in this beauty school level is provided through demonstration, technology, field trips, guest speakers, hand-on practice, and competency skills evaluation.
ICON: During this level, the graduate begins an important relationship with the Entourage Alumni association. This group provides documentation of licensure and employment in the chosen field. They will begin the achievement of their goals while enjoying success in an exciting career in the beauty industry. Students who have made it to ICON are able to participate in Advanced Education courses at Entourage.
